Ahem.... plus a song....

Well it's been a while since this blog was updated. Hope the summer has been great for everybody. Anyway, I thought this would be a good time to give a little update on what we've been up to.

James has spent the last couple months in CA at a sweet internship, and now he's up at Utah State working on his Master's. But even though he's not living in Provo anymore, we've still had some chances to play some tunes with him. We're currently looking into playing at BYU's Acoustic Explosion and maybe putting on another concert.

Terry and I have just been chillin around Provo for the summer. We've also invited our friend Tim Krumwiede to play with us. He plays the upright bass, so that's been lots of fun.

I also managed to break my neck at Lake Powell in a diving accident in July, but fortunately I can still walk and everything. I just have to wear a fun halo brace for 3 months and hope it heals right so that I won't need surgery.

Nonetheless, we have still been writing some sweet new songs. We haven't really had a chance to bring any of it all together, though. Hopefully this fall we can do that.

But for right now, I will follow in the steps of Coldplay and post a song here that is not finished yet (kind of like their Life in Technicolor). It's called Sometimes The Best Song, and it's just the instrumental version for now (which is still pretty nifty). I'm waiting on the vocals until my new mic arrives. Perhaps in some future release you'll see Sometimes The Best Song ii. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
